What Is alloClae™?
alloClae™ is sterilized, donor-derived structural adipose tissue, engineered to restore volume anywhere in the body that natural fat normally exists. According to Tiger Aesthetics, the manufacturer of alloClae™, the product retains the natural three-dimensional honeycomb structure of adipocytes and their surrounding extracellular matrix, allowing it to provide immediate volume at the treatment site while supporting the body's own tissue integration over time.
Unlike autologous fat transfer, alloClae™ requires no liposuction to harvest a patient's own fat, which means it can be used even on patients with very little body fat to spare. The tissue is terminally sterilized and processed to minimize DNA content, which is intended to reduce the risk of an immune response, and to reduce the free oil fraction to under 2%, lowering the risk of oil cysts forming at the injection site.
