How does CoolTone work?

CoolTone in Los Gatos & San Mateo uses specialized technology, called “MMS,” or “magnetic muscle stimulation.” The energy emitted by the groundbreaking CoolTone device triggers ultra-rapid muscle contractions – far faster than the body could perform naturally. The rapid muscle fiber contractions strengthen firm and tone the treated area.

Where can CoolTone be used on the body?

This device could be the ideal treatment to firm, tone, and create visible muscle definition, while building muscle, on several body areas, including:

  • Abdominal muscles
  • Thighs
  • Buttocks
  • Upper arms

Who is a candidate for CoolTone?

If you are close to your ideal weight and want to improve the firmness and strength of specific muscles, creating a toned, lean look, and you do not have any contraindications (most people don’t), you will be amazed at the changes in your physique achieved with a series of CoolTone treatments at SVIA. For physically fit individuals who are seeking muscle definition or a more lifted butt, these treatments produce remarkable changes – natural and attractive.

What is a CoolTone treatment like?

CoolTone treatments are not painful. You will feel an unusual sensation as your muscles contract rapidly. Initially, the sensation is odd, but you soon become familiar with it. This treatment is customizable to the patient, and the MMS energy can be decreased if you are sensitive. After your treatment, you are free to go back to your day, with no restrictions.

How many treatments will I need?

You are unique in every way – and every patient at SVIA is treated as an individual. You may need a series of four or more treatments to achieve your personal aesthetic goals. The treatments are performed twice a week for two weeks, in appointments that take about 30 minutes to complete.

What are the benefits of CoolTone treatments?

CoolTone is one of the most exciting advances in aesthetic technology and offers a set of exceptional benefits, including:

  • FDA-approved
  • Non-surgical
  • Zero downtime
  • Painless
  • Creates more sculpted abs, buttocks, and thighs
  • Creates lifted, defined muscles
  • Can help resolve diastasis recti (split abdominal muscles)

How much change can I expect?

Clinical studies found that muscle mass was increased by 16% after a series of four treatments, measured two months following the final treatment. To achieve firm muscle definition, this treatment delivers a visible change that our patients love.

What is the recovery time?

There is no real recovery time associated with CoolTone treatments. Rarely, do clients experience some redness, swelling, tingling, or muscle spasms, but most people feel as if they have just performed a tough workout. Drink plenty of water after your treatments.

How long will it take to see the results of CoolTone?

You should begin to see visible results after your series of four to six treatments. However, many of our clients tell us they notice feeling stronger after a single treatment. To maintain the muscle lifting, toning, and definition attained through CoolTone, follow-up treatments every six months to a year are recommended.
